Stuck on Rear Tire Decision Recommendations Needed

Been riding for about 6 months now, 2013 7.8k miles still have stock rear tire, was told it needs replaced when I took it in for service, its pretty flat down the middle.

I mainly use my bike to go to and from work about 30 miles each way, and the occasional weekend cruise around. Its mainly country roads a few curves along the way. Im leaning more and more now. No highways. I don't ride in rain (I know I cant prevent that all the time).

I dont do any track riding.

Here is what I have been trying to decide with.

Bridgestone Battlax BT45 Sport

Pirelli Sport Demon

Diablo Rosso II

Michelin Power RS

S20 Evo

The prices are roughly all in the same range, I like the dual compound idea, Looking for something thats grippy in the corners when I need it but wont wear down extremely fast.

Will be sticking to stock size. 140/70-17.

Thanks

bridgestone or pirelli would be my choice from them if i'm wanting more mileage, there all going to have plenty of grip for you.

I'm very happy with the BT45s I put on my pregen. I can drag a knee without any hint of trouble, and they're very neutral steering.

I really like the BT-45. Even take it to trackdays as backup and they perform really well. Lasts long time on street.

Btw, I may have mentioned in other threads, my BT-45s came as OEM tyres on my bike and are 9-yrs old. Should be able to finally wear them out after 45 more trackdays this year.

Gonna buck the trend here and suggest Michelin Road 5s. It's a 120 front and 150 rear, but if you're not carving hard, you probably won't notice anything other than them looking a little balloon-ey-er. In exchange, you get an excellent all-around tire that's particularly well known for both longevity and wet traction.

I've been using PR4s on my street bike since they came out about 3 years ago. Only reason they're not on my Ninja is that they aren't race tires. Although I've had moments of wishing I had a set to use as intermediates when conditions are fluctuating or the track is wet but drying.

Honestly, I've ran Bridgestone, Metzlar, Pirelli, Michelin and Continental, they all offer the same level of traction to a Novice. Match the rear to the front and go with that combo.
