Spikes Sticking outta Ninja Body?

Yo ive seen some Ninjas and other sportbikes, with these 'SPIKEs' some chrome, some painted Black... sticking outta the fairings of their Bikes!
I think some are replacing the stock allen wrench Bolts, that hold the Fairings onto the Bike, (is that even a good idea?)
and some of the areas these are placed, seem to be just Drilled into the Bike in random areas!
Now when ive seen afew of these looking bikes, around some of the Bike nights in my area... the owners of the bike arent Around for me to ask them... so Does anybody Know where i can buy these Spikes at (1.5-2") , and What kinda thing are they?

They look like large .50 caliber Bullets, with a fine Spike at the very Tip!
Or does anyone have a Crafty Cheapo way for me to make these myself and such?

Any info or such id appriciate it! Thanks

(I really like the Looks of these... and think it would give my Nate a 'Mad Max' Warrior look!)

Not a good idea. Good way to impale oneself though. Looks good but hurts even more. Had a buddy do the same thing on a new bike a drop later and he has some nice puncture wounds that just missed his artory in his leg.

Ninja 250R fairing spikes

Thought I'd do the search for anyone else interested. They look ... deadly.

There are cheaper ones on Ebay that come with the well nuts as well for less than $1. Thought about picking them up just for the well nuts
