Exclamation Bike shuts off immediately after starting.

Like it says in the title, the bike shuts off immediately after starting. Giving it throttle doesn't help at all. I have been messing around a lot with the throttle off late getting it to snap back just right. I managed to do that by changing a few cables and making some adjustments but now the bike just won't run. Please help. Video below for reference.

p.s. my bike is the EU spec EFI model, not the carb'd one.

I've shorted that, also it is in neutral, so it shouldn't matter.

@psych0hans - Hello Hans,

sorry to read about your problem, maybe it's a help to look in the service manual "Section EFI" there you'll find some description about possible solutions.
I would think about a fuel-problem, but anyway from here it's not so easy to say.
Good luck

did u mess with the idle? maybe its closed too much. Maybe open it up again. Mine had this problem on ninja 300 when the idle was set too low. Could be that.

I did mess around a lot with the throttle, so I'll try this first... Hope it works. Any other throttle setting I could do to try and rectify this?

Might want to confirm you have adequate fuel pressure. Does the pump have an audible priming sound when you turn on the key (not positive, but I think it should).

Plenty of fresh gas in the tank? Does it have a standard petcock with ON and OFF? If so, is the vacuum line to the petcock attached and in good condition?

Like ^^^^ he said make sure fuel pump is priming and also when messing with the throttle cables did u unplug any of the electrical wires going to the butterfly's? Possibly the secondary ones. You should also hear the secondary butterfly's moving when the key is on.

Good point also.

I would figure out how to confirm that they are opening properly. As EMS noted, they may cycle, along with the pump, when the ignition is turned on.

Is there an idle speed screw you can adjust to bump the idle up and at least keep it running?
