Technical difficulties

So I just put my battery back in my bike, brought it outside and fired it up. I treated the gas before I parked it, and it's not wanting to idle by itself even after getting it warmed up. It's been a while since I've dealt with carbs, and it straightened out a bit. But is this common? Or do I have carb issues?

Info greatly appreciated!

try draining the gas out of the tank and carb bowls and put some fresh gas in the tank. if that still doesn't help, here's something that might. let me guess... you used Stabil, correct?

Do what kelly said. seafoam can make the engine run like crap because it doesn't burn well.

Update:
I was able to run the old gas out of it, get some fresh stuff in, and get 'er running real good. I just (finally) got it to my closest Kawi dealer for its first service. They did me right and checked everything out for me and changed the oil, etc.

Side note: the thing really isn't that bad out on the highway, and I think for now I'm going to leave it stock o.O
