I myself, dont really care for, and Question the Full 360o visiblity of the flush mounts. Either a DIY flush mounts outta the stock covers, or those popular "Proton flush mounts".

I really would like to know, and see if stock front signals off either a 2009 ZX-6R/650R/ER-6n/ would fit well on the 250R!!!!
IMO the LOOK and visibility of those kinda signals are Awesome on Kawi's!

Got off work at 9:30AM - due to big golf outing-

I finally lubed my chain this morning (skipped doing so for like 800-900 miles)

I will be passing 11,000 miles (more like in 25 miles)

Im gonna go back over the Sat, BMW route we did + head up to Lexington, Mi. at the A&W for lunch!!!
While there im gonna ask about their THURS bike nite... if its still happening and if its pretty "eventful". Cuz, no need to ride all the way out there on a thurs after work, if its DEAD!

Gosh I wish I could ride with you guys already... I already know how to ride the bike pretty well, I just have to wait for the MSF course so I can go get my actual endorsement. I guess the MSF course will be worth it... but I want to ride... NOW!

I put on like 380 miles last night. I didnt get home till 11PM

I stopped for some Pics and finally got up to Caseville, from the M-25 route all along the eastern coast!

M-136 = fun road!

what did the dealer say when you called them about your bike?

why? when? who? ....

cuz i wonder if the mechanics there arent good with sportbikes. ya know?

i mean, if their certified techs, they should be good with all models/makes.

you can take a specialized course, say kawasaki sportbikes... if they went through one of the GOOD schools like UTI,MMI (of which im really looking to get into myself)

makes me scared to think WTF will happen when i take my bike in for its first check valves maintiance done.

Dawn and I, just got home!!!

It turned out to be a SUNNY HOT DAY up in Frankenmuth after 2PM ish!

Im sore as hell from...

- Bowling 5 games Thursday night (havent bowled since April and my arm isnt used to it, heh)

- Friday at work was hell, 3 HUGE 100 year old, 5 Medium 35 year old TREEs FELL around on the golf course. Wielding a 25 lbs chain saw, lifting heavy ass tree logs and stuff. Then dawn and I rode my bike out to hang with my dad, aunt and uncle for woodward. We got home Friday night around 12AM.

- Woke up today just whoooop'd!
We didnt leave the house till 10:30AM, had breakfast at Nation Coney Island off M-59/M-53. It kinda sucked too!
We were (for the first 4 hours) the ONLY SPORTBIKE THERE!!!!
I saw some squids ride loudly through the parking lot, but got scared of all the HD's and turned around and high tailed it like a bunch of .......'s!!!

I had 5 HD dudes that loved my lil Ninja, they were suprized it was a 250cc when i told em.

Admission only cost $2 each person!

I'll post of pics and the 411 under my Trips & Pics thread later on this week!

Well, its time for bed cuz once i get home from work tomorrow morning...

As far ass RENFEN goes... yes tomorrow Matt/GF, Dawn and I are going to the RENFEN, but...

We would love to go AGAIN to the RENFEN the weekend of Sept 25-26th.

becuase heres my plans for the following Weekends!!!

Sept. 4-5th (Arts Beats & Eats) etc.

Sept. 11-12th (11th, either Ublydrag way or go on a BMW group ride) etc.

Sept. 18-19th (18th going to hang out with my new friends from RSB at Cyclestop in Plymouth,Mi. also group ride - 19th Stockbridge bike event, either ill ride out there with RSB or if the BMW club is going)

Oct. 2-3rd (last weekend of RENFEN)

Ill be busy doing a Trackday in Gingermann this weekend!!!

So the 25-26th is the next time I can do RENFEN, for carol/ron etc that still wanna go!!!

Hey, Dave: How are the guys at RSB? They seemed really nice when we talked with them in Stockbridge at the Sportbike Rally

So: Last night when I was coming home from Lansing at about 9:30PM on the Autobahn (696), I got passed by 4 SuperSports like I was standing still And I was doing about 82mph on the BMW just keeping with the flow... These guys were weaving in and outta traffic too. No wheelies tho! And I didn't see one mohawk. What gives???

So today I'm taking the Ninja to Lansing. Gonna ride with my bff's dad who has a Harley Maybe I'll wear the pink mohawk Cause if'n I get passed by those sportbike guys again, at least I'll look bad *&%#$^. lol

Tofer, your quite a distance away, so i understand for sticking around town, but Ya guys Need to post up info about cool **** going on in Your area, as I have NP riding out to you...as long as its a Sat/Sun with a Early morning start to be able too make an All day riding event outta it!

I wont ride all the way out there, lets say last min, only to hang out for 1 hour, just to have to start heading back home!

People just need to share the 411 with your area about Events motorcycle related or NOT, so we can met up and ride and have fun,etc!

I know some of ya are busy and its not the Law to check this fourm for updates, BUT...
it just seems like only 3-4 of us Michigan Ninjette.org members actually USE this site as a means of meeting new people and making new friends along the way!

Im not God and cant plan everything out, nor read peoples minds!

Not much in the way of happenings going on in the lansing area... Only thing I know of is the hooters night at the lansing hooters but I'm not sure when the next one is, ill look it up when I get home.
