What did you have to do to get the "drop ins" to drop in?

Fully disassemble front forks. Seperate upper and lower legs. Grind bottom of lower legs until inner diaphram holder can be driven out. Reassemble legs with fork deals and dust seals and install cartridges (mine were pre setup by previois owner). Pour oil. Operate shim stacks to remove air bubbles. Button up and install.

I am not doing a FYI for the cartridges. That ship sailed already.
This is a for sale forum and... The springs are still available and are straight rate. .80kg/mm. $75 shipped. They are about $110 retail new. |

I'm sure he'll give you the spacers with the springs since I was considering buying the set but just got the intiminators.
