A friend's wife just got her license and wanted to see how the 'lil Ninja fit her.
Hoping to leave it with them next season for a couple weeks so she can try it out on the road.

She's happy with the fit:

Maybe next year I'll be able to get shots of my wife riding the Ninja (she hates her pic being taken!).

Far from evil! Just injured. lol! That was the bike both hubby and I learned on, so needless to say, she's been dropped, um, once or twice.

She's the little Ninja that could because she keeps going and going and going! Her last wreck did her in and sent her straight to farm life with a blacked-out spray paint job.
Edit: She may look ugly these days, but she continues to be a ball of fun and laughs! Here's a before picture.

Scared and disfigured she has been abandoned in an equally forsaken farmyard building. She spends her miserable days staring through a crack in the wall of her lonely abode watching the world outside and longing for a life that once was.

She watches you and your hubby laugh and pull away on your well loves machines. She cries but no one hears. Her tears roll down what's left of her fairings and dry as rust on her tortured body. Two hundred and fifty CCs of envy, bitterness and anger is all she has left.

Now, more than anything, all she wants is her filthy, oily blood to stop pumping and her carbs to rust over, but she's cursed to live on, occasionally being dragged naked out of the farm house and humiliated by her owner before being returned to the darkness, the horrible darkness, whence she will remain.

At least she gets occasional love and can still bring fun laughs and memories for us all. That's what this first Lil Ninj was all about. Nearly every "first" of motorcycling happened on this machine: first peg scrape, first drop, first adrenaline-pumping mountain ride, first camping experience, first ride to work, first ride on the back of a bike and first ride as the rider, first ride I got to share with my family, etc, etc) and we're still having firsts on her. How many retired bikes can say that?

She's provided too many memories and given my hubby and me a shared loved of adventures on 2-wheels. She'll always have my heart. There's nothing like the first!

There is a real one of me on that bike storage thread from a while back. Someone linked to it in here.

I'll definitely take some of me with my bike when it's both warm enough outside and I feel vein enough. You can count on the latter, but the former criteria probably wont be satisfied until about 3 months from now when it warms up.
