Windows (xp) without a mouse
If your mouse dies, whilst your cat will be happy, you won't.
Here are some useful tips for keyboard navigation. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000791.htm The alt, tab thing is neat |

This is good stuff!
I like quick commands: they're quick (duh!) and easier on the wrist. And the ctl-w is cool! |

ctrl+shift+t is a good one, too.
When I was in high school and we'd be on the older computers, you could hold down Shift+alt+printscreen (prompts user for high-contrast mode) for a really long time and it would make the onboard motherboard speaker chirp forever. Bonus points if you go to someone's computer and actually turn on high contrast mode. |

Computers are neat. Me and my little brother got bored one day and he knows a tiny bit about batch and I know a tiny bit about various other languages, and just by messing around we were able to make a batch script that opens five more of itself, and when it's done, it just floods the console with a bunch of gibberish. And the thing is, when it opens five more of itself, those five each open 5 individually and it exponentially grows, making the computer unusable once you open it. It goes beyond the point of task manager being able to help you. You've gotta yank the power cable

I've always been a keyboard fiend. I can do almost anything without a mouse unless I encounter an application which doesn't conform to proper UI standards.
