At the time I was primarily riding my Honda Superhawk 996 and now I have a Honda CBR 600RR/A. I took two years off because of my wife (Becky of Custom Seat Creations) was hit by an out-of-control Toyota in the mountains here in Colorado and knocked her down a ravine, so I was a bit gun-shy and rode sparingly, understandably. This will be my 4th Ninja 250 and I find the 600RR is the same weight (give or take) but 100 more Hp and handles very similarly with the same gas mileage, so yes, I sort of "babied" the 250 and only used it sparingly.
