Front brake upgrade suggestions?

Hi everyone, I want to upgrade my front brake - steel braided line and possibly pads. What are your recommendations and where're the best place to get them? From what I hear, the OEM pads are pretty good so I might stick with OEM there. However, I would like to have a better feel for the front brakes (less squishy), I'm hoping the steel braided line will help...

I did the Spiegler stainless steel line kit for the front brakes (I don't use the rear much so I couldn't justify doing it) while in the process of changing my pads to ebc hh ones and I have to say braking feels a lot better now. All of it for less than $100.

sportbiketrackgear has a great deal on the Spiegler kit http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=4908 they throw in free brake fluid and brake cleaner and the shipping is free . I thought it was a great deal.

when was the last time you bled/flushed out your brake fluid? if never, give that a try and see if brake feel doesn't improve.

How'd you get free shipping? Oh and where did you get the EBC's?

I'm sorry, you're correct, it is not free shipping unless your over $150. I ordered a Puig windscreen and something else so my total was over 150 thus I got free ground shipping.

I got the EBC's over at cyclebrakes.com

Braided line of your choice and EBC HH pads. I recommend Cyclebrakes.com. Flush and replace your fluid when it gets any darker than light beer or whenever it appears cloudy.

Check this thread. I got my HEL's from Matt at a good price. Maybe he can pull this off for you too. I love them!
