Just because she is asian or hispanic doesn't mean she is hot. I don't know about you but I prefer to not wake up in the morning and go "AHHHHHH!". If she doesn't have a face that is pleasant to the eyes, then it is an automatic no. She can be so-so looking, just not scary or ugly.

I don't think I'm hard on myself. I'm honest. I'm not as slender as I was, I had an injured back, was holding off on surgery, and at the time this pic was taken I was working as a 911 operator/police dispatcher so basically I was working LONG hours sitting on my butt...horrible schedule does horrible things to the body.

I have been hitting the gym and tonight I'm going to check out a jiu jitsu class...I want to get back to this:

as a martial artist i can say jiu jitsu is good if ur looking to really fight/wrestle/grapple/ mma but if ur just looking to get into shape its not as focused on cardio exercises like taekwondo, kung fu or the best one for losing weight/cardio/strengthening IMO is capoeira.

They claim they offer classes just for exercising. I'm not sure about doing anything where anyone puts their hands on me. But I figured it was worth a shot to go and check out tonight's class. They also do muah thai...we'll see.

yea i didnt even mention the pervey groper factor that could go on w the grappling LOL
my fiance does muay thai and kali/silat. her dad is a pretty famous instructor in the filipino martial arts world... she stays in good shape and can kick some a$$

def check the classes out and research what other martial arts are in ur area. let me know if you have any questions, ive done a little bit of everything. the last few years ive focused on kung fu and capoeira tho... also parkour is a great way to stay in shape, tho usually hard to find classes and gyms where instructors really know what they are doing

**** I wish they offered Mui Thai at my gym or even at a gym in town. When I lived in San Diego I did it. It was fun, and our instructors were pretty nuts. One left to go back to Thailand to train more, and stuff. Good cardio (at least I thought so) too. And its a brutal fighting style. If you get halfway decent you can really bust some faces...

but yeah grappling = rolling... Seriously thats what they call it. Its fun but youre up close and personal with your partner since your practicing locks and such
