Laguna Seca with Pacific Track Time

I was one of the lucky ones who got to ride at Laguna Seca this Tuesday. The conditions were perfect. The sun was out to warm the track along with a cool ocean breeze to cool the riders. I had a great time riding my 2008 250 Ninja and my 1998 GSXR750.

Heading up to Turn 6:

Turn 2:

Turn 2 (in my usual position trying to make a pass before the other bike can get on the gas.):

Front straight:

Corkscrew on my 750:

awesome!

I bet it must have been a little annoying sitting there chugging along at the top of 6th for much of the track, especially up the hill in back. But nothing beats jumping down that corkscrew...and hammering down into that left hander!

The real pisser is getting passed going up the hill by someone who then parks it going into the Corkscrew. I don't know how many times I went through the screw sitting up because unless you ride through the dirt there is only room for one bike through there.
