I was actually thinking about one of these to replace my worn out Jansport. Looks like it has cushion and support in all the right places and the price is right.

But, if you're not worried about scratching your tank, get a big magnetic Joe Rocket tank bag for less and don't worry about putting extra weight on your back.

Putting weight on your back changes the center of gravity more than a tank bag. Generally, the lower the weight is, the less impact it has.

That said, I wear a backpack because I commute with a laptop. I like Ogio's packs. Never been a big fan of mil-spec, but that's just me.
