Looking for handlebar risers for a 2007
I'm looking to buy handlebar risers for my 2007 ex250. Like these:
http://www.powersportsfx.com/sa/cart...33F619FB382%7D Though they seem to be out of business. Anyone know another source or got a pair to sell? Thanks!!! |

Greetings & Salutations and welcome to Ninjette Lester!
Your best bet for taller position is to get generic bar clamps that bolt to centre of upper triple-clamp. Then you can select from huge variety of one-piece bars. https://www.ninjette.org/forums/show...17957&p=768498 |

Back in the day we used Ninja 250 bars on our race Ninja 500 because they were lower. The inside needed to be opened-up because the 500's tubes were larger, but other than that they bolted on.
So if you used a set of EX/Ninja 500 bars they would be higher, but you may want to come up with some type of shim to get a snug fit on the smaller 250 fork tubes. |

Found set for '08-12 new-gen. Not sure if they'll work on earlier models.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000670035379.html EDIT: This will work on pre-gen 250s to raise bars. But you have to shim ID to fit smaller 36mm forks. And drill 2 new holes to fit narrower spacing on pre-gen bars. Last futzed with by DannoXYZ; February 14th, 2020 at 04:57 PM. |

Also one guy online used to make risers for the 250, the website is still up and you can place an order and send money, but the parts never show up and there is no response from the site. They are expensive at 100 bucks for aluminum blocks to adjust bar height. |

He's talking about the riser part of the bars. They bolt to upper triple-clamp and cover top of fork tubes. Ex500 has 37mm tubes while pre-gen has 36mm tubes. To fit the shorter/lower risers from 250 onto EX500 requires boring out big hole in bottom from 36 to 37mm so they fit over EX500's larger fork tubes. To prevent loading bolts in shear (engineering no-no), you want them to fit snuggly over fork tubes.
