Streetbikes Unlimited Frame Sliders Install?????
Hey, has anyone installed streetbikes unlimited no-cut frame sliders? I'm trying to install them but I don't have the instructions because I bought them off a forum member. If anyone has installed them before or has a set of instructions they wouldn't mind scanning I'd appreciate it. Any familiarity with this installation would be great. Thanks a lot

i dont have this kind of sliders or pics of it, but i imagine it being similar to all frame slider installations.
1) get bike on stands 2) take off fairings 3) get car jack and a 2x4 or something to protect the motor 4) loosen top engine bolt (upper-forward most bolt) 5) support motor with jack 6) take out engine bolt 7) replace bolt with bolt from frame slider kit and put on frame sliders accordingly 8) torque bolt (dont forget to use some thread locker before putting nut back on bolt) 9) remove jack 10) reinstall fairings 11) put bike back on ground edit: Also, im sure the sliders can only go on one way so mixing up the right and left side should not be a problem. |

is this what it looks like? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Street-Bike-...-/220836501100
if so, you need to install the brackets to the engine and those 6" bolts go through the frame slider and into the bracket to get secured. |
