Do the pre load adjusters do a lot?

and since jetting, filters, and exhaust how much power increase did you notice on the little ninjette?

You can get away from not having any pre-load adjusters by just cutting a longer spacer to go above the spring. You just wont have any adjustability. Personally, I don't think it's a big deal, I set my preload to something like 12-15mm and haven't changed it. The biggest and best mod I can recommend though is getting stiffer springs!!! As for power increase, it feels faster and sounds a lot louder! But, I think anyone looking to do the same mods would be just as happy with a slip-on exhaust and a k&n drop in filter. Rejetted of course!
