Added 230 miles while enjoying an early spring day and hunting up one of Nevada's best burgers. Then cleaned and oiled the chain and finally got around to luring the clutch cable, wow what a difference! And now sitting less than 50 miles from the 10,000 mile mark!
Have a curious squeak that settles into a pulsing "thrum" sound that I need to figure out the cause of.

got to a stopping point on my heated grips... they function! they're super warm, can't wait to use them. Just need to let this 6"+ of snow that fell last night melt first...
i want to get a better switch, and need to re-do some of the solder joints as my soldering iron pretty much took a **** on me yesterday, but it's functional, for now. |

Rode 1650 miles last weekend and recorded a new top speed for myself 109.7 on the GPS. My Koso read 110 for about 30 seconds before dropping back down to 109. Not bad considering my bike had the Givi top box and Large tank bag on it so full tuck was not quite possible. Lots of above 90mph for long periods of time and still got 49mpg as my worst tank over the trip.
Also proved @CycleCam303 's bike is still a turd by proving even loaded down with 5 days worth of gear my bike still owns his in a strait line Here the GPS link to strava and yeah it's recorded under roller skiing http://app.strava.com/activities/44456013 |

It's the 250R RojoRacing special edition that's how
It was a bit of a negative grade so that helped a bit. I know a lot of riders post about getting over 100mph but most are still using the stock speedo and we know how inaccurate those are, so I figured I'd post a GPS readout. It's also cool to see my Koso calibration is within 1% at the speed as well |

Yo, preload setting #1 is plusshhhhhhh compared to what I've been used to. I'll experiment with the rest of the settings before choosing, though.

Somehow got 60 MPG on my last fill up. Adjusted my rear shock preload to #2. Going from #5 to #1 felt like I was going to pull a muscle while going from #1 to #2 was easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Do you have clip-ons? Those won't work under the OE risers.
Here's how to get the stock fork caps off: http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/How_do_...aps/pistons%3F |

I think those go on top of the triple, meaning you have to raise the forks.

http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=11956 In short, check which setting it is on now and go from there. It is most likely on setting 1 or 2, if you are 200lbs, you will most likely go to a higher number setting, from 1 to 2, or from 2 to 3 if you are unhappy with current and or just want to see what a stiffer setting feels like. |

Reached 10,000 miles yesterday! I am stoked! And super glad I decided to just rebuild my bike after the wreck. Those miles truly feel like mine. Now to plot out the cross country trip. BWAHAHAHAHAHA
Minor repair on the Tron wheel lights, stupid wire got stuck in a pinch point and was smashed beyond use.
