What's your idle set at? Is bike fully warmed up? Has the bike been sitting for a few weeks to a month? How many miles does it have? Air filter, spark plugs?

Are you the original owner? Might be that if you are not the original owner let the. Ike sit for some time and your carbs are dirty and could use some cleaning. Have the needles in it been shimmed? your spark plugs will tell you how your engine has been running by its color.

Don't know how I missed that. Highest it should be idling at is 1500. Factory is about 1300. I have mine set at 1500.

Lightbulb

So far I've got that I need to:
Check spark plugs
Sync Carbs
Adjust my idle to 1300-1500 range
Clean Carbs

I noticed that I didn't put in there that I have the Hotbodies MGP Growler Slip-on...Would that have anything to do with it.

well, valve checking in pretty involved. Shouldn't he check off the simplest of things before ripping the valve cover off?
