....hello all, my name is Thomas. Just joined for my wife, Christina. Picked her up a 2008 250R, that was mechanically sound, but looked beat down. It's a surprise for her birthday, November 23....almost finished with it. Looks pretty good so far.....can I post a few pics? I've also been modding it as I've been fixing it up, because I can't leave anything alone....lol. Nice atmosphere here....thanks.

....thanks, guys. I have two pics downloaded to my attachments, from my phone....just not sure how to post them here. Still tryin' to figure that out. I can locate them in my attachments, just can't figure how to let you all see them.

You have 2 options to get pics visible in a post.

1. You can upload them to any photosharing site and use the

button to insert your link

2. Use the advanced post editor by clicking the "Go Advanced" button. Once the advanced editor is loaded, you can click the manage attachments button, in the new tab, select your photo and upload, then close the tab when you're done. It's a bit clumsy on a phone but does work.

After I give her the bike, maybe she'll be on here, herself...if she's not riding...lol. xxECUTERxx2, yes, it is the XG-1...and yes, it was loud...toooo loud! I modified it with 2 8" baffles, and some fiberglas muffler packing...it sounds good now.

....thanks! Mods so far are...shorty, adjustable levers, dark ,double bubble windscreen, custom paint and graphics, modified XG-1 pipe, wrapped header, smog delete, raised needles, L.E.D. signals and integrated tail light, chopped rear fender, pink L.E.D. lighting, wheel stripes, and I lowered it, because she is short...lol. Still planning to get a new chain, and sprockets, as well as some Diablo Rosso IIs, probably. I've been doing all this, shrouded in ninja secrecy...lol. I hope she likes it...
