sounds like the starter is not connected... try wiggling the wire going to the starter... it might be hard to get to it.
if you are stuck you might try bump starting it... put it in 3rd with the key on and kill switch on, push with clutch in, hop on and let the clutch out quickly but smoothely

if you hear the relay click you know the problem is either the relay, the battery, or the starter.

Lesson of the day, use a motorcycle battery charger for motorcycle and ATV batteries. That's the only explanation, something inside the battery went wrong after that since the battery was supposed to be fairly new. Normally I would use a load tester since it tells you more about the batteries condition, however I don't know if a car battery tester would work on a bike battery. The battery had like 13.5 volts, which we both thought was enough. A load tester probably would have indicated something wrong.

Copied from http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/a...surface_charge
"During use, and especially on overcharge, the water in the electrolyte splits into hydrogen and oxygen. The battery begins to gas, which results in water loss. In flooded batteries, water can be added but in sealed batteries, water loss leads to an eventual dry-out and decline in capacity. Water loss from a sealed unit can eventually cause disintegration of the separator. The initial stages of dry-out can go undetected and a drop in capacity may not be immediately evident."

Looks like the turn signal relay.
I can't really tell from that picture, but it's on the right side right underneath the curvy part of the seat, has 2 orange wires, and a 2-pin connector right? If so, that's the turn signal relay. |

Also, what are the two female spade connectors by the fuse box? There's also two up by the headlight. We both have these just dangling and neither of us have any idea what they're for. Special wiring for JDM grip warmers?
