Well you can't let your bike go off by itself...

He shouldn't have been on a motorcycle to begin with. Any, I mean most, I really some of us could have made that turn at twice that speed.

50 is where he finally gave up so it would be 100, I don't know the rode but also sure that inadequate skill had most to do with it.

You'd need both lanes for 130 but it could be done

staying in the same lane that bike could go through wide open 6th gear or ~100mph

leave that kind of speed at the track though, saves you from flying off cliffs

There was some report about this on a FB group where the rider claimed the steering locked up..... if by steering me means operator then YES!

Love the panic rev right before take off.

I don't like that American tv news format where the presenter is all psyched and there is this stupid mini-build-up/intro to a clip that is only short anyway, so doesn't need one. They repeatedly play select portions of the clip which I don't want to see and stop rolling the clip at points that I want to see beyond.

The presenter also has this annoying sense of urgency in his voice and describes things that are clearly in the scene (so don't need stating) or adds things to the scene which aren’t there:

"it's a terrifying crash" - Personally I didn't find it scary at all.

"WATCH! as this motorcyclist tries to make a turn at 40mph..." <-- said while you can clearly see the speedo showing 60+mph on the screen.

"... and flies straight off the clip" - yup: I can see that happening right now.

The about page for that channel says:
"Inside Edition is television's longest-running, top-rated, and most-honored syndicated newsmagazine."

Sounds like they had a good run, but I don't think these guys are going to be around much longer.

I'm not fond of news commentators , either. For the same reasons.

I watched it. Interesting video. I hate that dude Bill O’Reilly. Didn't realize he worked for the Inside Edition.

Did you see Bill's face while he was being called out? Cold as ice. No embarrassment. That guy is a lizard. I could tell he was just sat their calculating the optimal response to deflect, humiliate, re-frame or otherwise re-shape the minds of the audience to serve his own ends.

Shame that the guy calling out Bill dropped in the whole anti-right, pro-left thing. Doing that isn't as bad as Bill's Peabody deception, but it's still a dirty trick. It's transfer of values by association; ie "the right is bad cos Bill is on the right". There are crooks and liars on the left and the right. Regardless of any person's individual allegiance/ideology, I think the best thing they can do to win people over to the virtues of their position, is to simply make their best, evidence-backed, rational arguments and then let other people decide for themselves whether they agree or not. I'd respect Al more if he just called out Bill and left it at that.
