VERTICALLY IMPAIRED ? adjustable kickstand ? Lowered raised ?
2013 ninja 300
If I lower the front an rear 1 inch will it need an adjustable kickstand?! I got handlebar riser blocks an adjustable dog bones for my FDA ninjette Trying to get ready for installing the mods. Has anyone else needed adjustable kick Stand After adding Gsxr shocks Or lowering ??!

Yes you will want a lower kickstand if you lower the bike unless you want your bike to tip over easily or even unable to park in many average situations. Buying the adjustable kickstand is a better option than cutting the stand since you will be able to raise it back up later without having to buy a whole new kickstand.
When the dealer lowered my 300, they cut the stand, but not enough. I was worried about the bike tipping way too much because it didn't lean over enough when parked. Stopping at the sloped edge of roads was damn near impossible or just made me extremely worried. I had to buy a new kickstand when I raised it back up since I didn't get an adjustable one. |
