i hand sharpen my 2mm lead holders, and carpenter's pencils.

carry a small bundle of sandpaper to touch up the edge and apply accurate thickness to the lead for the 2mm pencil. i use a utility knife open the edge on a carpenters pencil, but still use sandpaper to smooth the edge into a fine edge.

to charge $15 is not totally horrible, due to the time and effort it takes to actually do it right, package, and mail back... master troll probably

this business actually being realistic, goes to show anything can be called artisan work today, because many people don't have basic practical skills... or don't have the time to hone them.

its kind of sad really.
