Scavenging with the Ninjette...

A local motorcycling board has just started a "chip scavenger hunt" of sorts. Someone created a small token, hid it somewhere, gave hints, and the game was on. You find the chip, take pics of your bike with it, and take it somewhere else to start the game again. Here's a link to the original thread.

I checked the thread tonight, and realized that someone had hid it only a few miles east of our house, so we were quickly on our way. It was a two-vehicle convoy as it sounded interesting to the rest of the fam, yet I knew I needed to be on two wheels.

At first Kyle wasn't particularly interested in the chip:

But he eventually warmed to it, and of course tried to eat it. I sure hope this isn't one of those foreign-made lead-encrusted motorcycle-internet-forum-geo-chips.

He liked it so much, he wanted to see if Valentino liked it as well:

But no such luck, it didn't taste enough like beef.

I've got a ride planned tomorrow, and the chip will soon be happily located in a new and hopefully interesting resting place.

Throw in Visus, and .......no wait, I ain't saying that..

hold on.....

Cheez, I hate it when I can't think of anything funny.........

Anywho, we can add visus and have 2 looking for it at once. Or we can sneak over to Kauai and hide it get kkim and komohana in on it.
I have heard of these before, and I agree, they do sound like fun.

nice, motorcycle-only geocaching! It'd be sweet if it could spread across the country..

That is where the idea stemed from. SBR just made it more complicated.

Someone on one of the other forums (dcsportbike.com you might know it, has riders from around MD, DC, VA and so on), started it as a Tag-O-Rama for Maryland. But they use pictures no token.

It's quiet fun.

this is the kind of interesting stuff that makes me wish there were more NC riders on this board that are close to me. All the NC ppl here are more than 4 hours away
but I will find you all, someday... >.>
