MAGURA hydraulic clutch and brake system
Hello, I'm a happy owner of the 2009 ninja 250r and I'm looking to replace my cable clutch and factory brake system with MAGURA one, however I can't find parts dedicated to the ninja 250r, but I saw a guy install a MAGURA clutch on a pregen ninja 250r, has anyone done it to the 09-12 ninja 250r?
Have a great rest of your day, Kacper. |

For my Pregen hydraulic clutch actuator I used a very inexpensive one I got from eBay. I don't see it there now, but it was just the hydraulic line and the actuator. I coupled that with a Magura 9.5mm master cylinder and it works really well. I'd expect the Magura actuator to do at least as well.
Really all I'd think you'd need to know is if the newgen engines have the same clutch cable anchor in the casting, and the same actuator lever on the transmission housing. Note that Magura specifies their "blood" hydraulic fluid, which I believe is mineral oil. I confirmed with Magura that DOT5 is also OK to use in their master cylinders. Welcome to the board, Kacper! |

pozdrawiam i zapraszam Kacper!
I really like hydraulic clutches for lower maintenance. Had clutch-cable wear through at track one time and didn't have spare. Jim, was your eBay actuator something like this? |

I don't remember why I didn't get an eBay kit that included the master cylinder, but it was probably because I didn't like the diameter. |
