Fluorescent Jacket???

I rode past a dude wearing a BRIGHT yellow fluorescent jacket yesterday.
Boy did he stand out!!

I saw him coming from quite a ways back.
Anybody seen a moto store selling these??

I googled it and could not find anything other than a vest/bib that was bright yellow.

It's called Hi Viz Yellow. OldGuy has a jacket that color and my old riding suit was that color. Now my suit is gray/black, but I've compensated for that change w/ a Hi Vis Yellow helmet.

None of my gear is high-vis but as I think about all the times where I have almost been run over by some random cager who claimed to not see me, It seems to be a better idea. The scorpion jacket looks nice. I really like Ixon jackets too, I'll have to see if they make one.

I wish someone would make fashionable, sportbile-type gear in high-vis/bright/reflective colors. My gear has some reflective patches and piping, but it's really only helpful at night and it's pretty subtle anyway.

I like the idea of wearing bright-yellow or pure reflective white but all the vis gear looks like construction worker wear or touring attire. Where's the fashionable Alpinestars two-piece with liberal usage of yellow? Where's the Shift half leather/half high-vis textile to complement my non-adventure street bike?

My husband has a bright yellow jacket. He was out riding his bike today, I saw him on the highway at least 2 miles away.

Both TourMaster and First Gear make a HiViz yellow jacket. TourMaster is the 600d fabric and First Gear is the mesh. Both with armor. And as Kelly said the Scorpion helmet to top it off.

newenough is my supplier of choice
