Highest Mileage Ninjette?? Who's got the most?
Looking for the ninjette rider with the most miles on their bike. Please state if you have a new or pregen.
To qualify, you must have put the majority of miles on the bike, if you bought it used. Don't want to hear about a bike that has 79,000 miles and you just bought it last month with 78,800 miles on it. Okay I'll start to set the benchmark... I have 3000 miles on my new gen. Top that!! So, come on... bring it on and post up... I'd like to see who has the most miles on their bike and consequently ask them about what holds up and what fails. |

kkim, I thought you would have more miles on your bike than that. Or is there a hint of sarcasm in there I cannot see.

no sarcasm... and that's my true mileage.
this post was inspired with someone with a new gen that had quite a few miles and I'm just curious who has the most here. so, highest now is 7k on a new gen. |

May I ask why there are so few miles on your bike? isn't it on its 2nd year? My bike is a couple of months away from reaching a full year and is about to reach 4000 and I rode it rather conservatively. Must it be, because everything on the islands are short distance?

Only use my bike to commute to work on perfect weather days. 54 miles round trip. All other roads are boring to ride so the mileage is slow to build. Those 3k miles are very twisty miles, though.

okay kelly, i'll bite...bought an 01 for $1100 with 6,000 miles, sold it for the same price with 28,000 miles on it...bought an 04 for $600 with 328 miles, still have it with 19,257 miles on it now...granted both bikes were a little rashed and plenty of tlc but i don't see the bike when i am on it...
and i must have gone through seven sets of tires and several oil and filter changes, l don't even adjust and clean the chain except lube it every 500 miles, never washed the bikes...oh did i mention i also rode 2k on an 01 zx6e, 9k on an 05 zzr600, all this since august of 2006...yeah, i spend most of my time riding... i know that is not what you asked for but that is my story |

100K ninjette
GaryJ has just rolled over 100K on his 2001 ninjette. Linky.
Kelly - I put 1,450 miles on a bike yesterday, though it wasn't a ninjette. Does this mean I can't ride for 6 months to let you catch up?

I'm kinda surprised I racked up that many so far.
I don't think I really ride it that much... Even when it was my only bike. |

I just hit the 800 mark this morning.
Watch out. I'm climbing up slowly. Thanks to Kelly's DIY, my bike now ride and shift a lot smoother. Changed my oil and filter yesterday. |
