15T sprocket and 150/60R17 (BT-016)

Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone running this setup has had any clearance issues with the tire and swingarm.

I bought the 15 tooth sprocket anticipating that I would install it. But, I just purchased a set of BT-016 tires and I wonder if I am going to run into any issues of rubbing? I am assuming the 15 tooth sprocket will move the rear tire inwards, and I have heard there is only about a 1/4 clearance from the 150/60R17 tire to the swingarm.

Any info would be really appreciated.. Thanks!

I'm running both and no issues with the the swingarm. I did have to cut a notch on the chainguard though since that was rubbing on the tire. I can take a pic when I get the chance.

^^^No need to notch the chain guard, if you put washers between the guard and its mounting points!

Did my chain maintenance today so took some pics for you.

Chainguard with notch cut in (wish I knew about the washer idea beforehand )

Looks sooo dirty, but I'm going to blame it on the construction they're working on in the parking lot.

Yes, my car should be metallic black, not dusty yellow...
