Another track day at the Buddh International Circuit.

Please bear with the length of the video. It is picture in picture with a butt cam to give an idea of my body positioning. Placement wasn't perfect, but I hope to get a better cam with better mounts soon.

Look at you go man! Gettin' out there having a good time is what it's all about.

I can't watch it all tonight but you definitely need a reference point for turn 3. I see what you mean in your other thread. I see your getting in your off track experience too.

Finally got the chance to watch all of the video.

This track has some technical aspects to it that are just plain cool and challenging.
T5 &T6 is one big turn by line. T6 is slightly sharper.
T10 & T11 is one big turn by line but will have a double apex. Not only that, T11 is sharper so will require the hook turn to follow the red line on the track map.
Turns 3 and 15 are blind with a crest before it. Crests are one of my favorite track features.
There seems to be a balance of corners with early and late turn in points.
There seems to be a balance of corners with quick flicks and a more lazy turn in.

I think I see some issues that are common across all your laps that correspond to your questions in other threads.

What is common about turns 3 & 15? There blind, you can’t see anything can you? So what are you looking at to judge corner setup? Do you feel lost and out of control (speed wise) when you have no point of reference? I see some poles in the background that may just help you out visually, to point the bike in the right direction. Pick a pole that you feel points you in the direction you want to go and stay on it until you can see through the corner. You may feel iffy on turn 3 but your line through it looks good and it also seems pretty consistent.

Check this pic

I can’t see my exit. So I have a choice, slow down or find the exit another way. So, see the pole with the #5 on it? At the exact moment in time this pic was taken, I am looking at that pole. You might ask, “Why look there? You haven’t even hit the apex yet”. Because I am staying one step ahead in my mind. Which helps keep panic and other SR’s at bay. Basically, I never out ride my ability to mentally process what I will be doing next.

Also, when you are confident in a corner, your throttle control shows it. Other times.....

Homework!
Is there someone you can ask for a tow around the track at your pace? I didn't see a single control rider/coach, are there any?
This one will most likely have the biggest effect on you. Take a 2up ride on the track with someone you trust and on a bigger bike. Going 150+ should help diminish some of the mental noise you get on the lil ninja.

Don't forget to keep having fun. It's the reason your there in the first place.
