The Yamaha Champions Riding School is one of the best in the biz, and is definitely something to check out if you’re looking to become a better, faster rider. Their classes fill up quick, so see below for more info on how you can attend.

Pitt Rentals!*We have secured another trailer and*are now bringing six (6) rental bikes to our Pittsburgh International Raceway class on August 20-21.* Previously, there were no bike rental options.* Just choose*“bike rental”*when you check out and email*keith@champschool.com*to*choose*an R6, R3, FZ/MT-07.* *If you have your own bike, try to leave the rentals for those who cannot attend unless they have a bike available.


Pre-AHRMA NJMP!*Don’t forget YCRS is at NJMP the week leading up to the AHRMA weekend,*offering a two-day ChampSchool class on Wednesday/Thursday July 11-12,*as well as a ChampDay class on Thursday only.* Seats are limited with this format and*they*are filling.* Don’t forget to use the AHRMA racers coupon code (can you figure out what the code might be)?


Get High in the plains (of Colorado)!*June 28 is our last date at High Plains Raceway near Denver this season.* It’s Thursday before MRA so come get those last few tenths you need*per corner.* If you*are*a street rider, we will offer our ChampStreet street-riders course from 4pm until*8:30.


The Ridge in Washington!*Last, YCRS is coming to*The Ridge Motorsports Park near Seattle August 27-28.* We will not have rental bikes there but expect to fill this school as*The Ridge is such a great place and the best kept secret in the US.* Not to mention, believe it or not, the weather in the northwest is about as perfect as anywhere in the country during the summer.


Riding Tips
Walking your bike and gradually applying and releasing your front brake just a few percentage points at a time mimics the feel required to master the art of trail braking.* Be a master-braker.
