Anyone familiar with routes 14 through Elmira or 13 through Ithaca?

Those are two of the roads I'll be on in the middle of May when I ride up to yhe Fingerlakes from Western PA. Thanks.

It's been many years since I've been up there, but from all the years that I did spend, I remember it to be exclusively cold and grey.

Yeah, I used to live outside of Rochester, and it seemed like there were more gloomy summer days than there were sunny days. Kink of like England? Anyway, still looking for a member familiar with that part of NY. Thanks for the help.

Sorry, don't travel that far west. I jump on 17 to 220 but haven't been that far.

Been in the area many times. Not familiar with those roads specifically, but most of those roads are gravelly and often have grass clippings or whatever thrown out in the road. Keep an open eye for poor grip.

Well I wanted to update everyone and let them know that I made my first big ride. I rode from Grove City Pennsylvania to outside of Syracuse New York to the Finger Lakes on a 650 mile plus ride on the 06 Ninja 250. The bike averaged 70-plus miles per gallon did wonders for cleaning out my carburetor it purrs like a kitten now. I got to see great sites meet nice people and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
