I figured as much! Fellow Filthfan here too, hence the note on the name. Welcome to the club, bud! Nice color choice, too

Streetfightering it! NICE call...there are some VERY badass ones done to SV650's as well. Big Streetfighter fan here too, but I gotta say, but Kawi did such a good job on the fairings for 08/09 that I can't really part with them. Willingly. That is.
Theres a site out there where somebody did a 250 Turbo streetfighter, similar gen to yours...take a search for it! Only one known right now, but the owner needed to dump like $6000 into it to do the turbo, and it was a TOALLY custom kit. Good Luck!
P.S. youtube "250 streetfighter"...theres an indonesian one done with the fairings from an '09 250r, and 150r pieces as well.

sweet, I'll check into that, thanx for the info! While you're at it enjoy this hilarious pic from when I did the mock up with the headlight I got for the bike. Its secured with masking tape so I could get a feel for placement. I'm doing away with the gauge cluster I'm pretty sure so that wont be in the way anymore.

Also, look up on Ebay for various headlights, and there is a custom shoppe in the UK that SPECIALIZES in streetfighter headlights (venom, demon, gasmask, etc). europe is BIG into the SF world. was bent on an SV650 before I got the Toy, was going to turn it into an SF but decided an sv was a little potent considering I had never ridden a bike before. Plus I didn't like the ride height and "normal" handlebars.
Interesting headlight idea though!! First glance honestly thought that was a 620D Duc. If you were to go for a "double-barrel shotgun" style custome xhaust (see designs off Ducati S2R and S4R's) that would look sick. I'm diggin' the normal headlight, but if you can find one akin to a K6 or K7 GSXR 600 that would be b/a too...

anytime! hah...look up Kawi dirtbikes, if anything i figure a screw-style hose-clamp would do the trick, plus, SF's arent made to look like theyre hiding any tricks...brutal scrapper sort of thing, its a part of their appeal
