Race Takeoff Tires
(1) Bridgestone BT016 race take-offs. (1)150/60 rears + (sold out for now on fronts)110/70 front. These tires have been raced for approximately 600 miles. They have some wear on the very edges of the tires, but are nearly new in the middle. They have a lot of "clag" on them (race rubber stuck to the tires when exiting the track). This will all fly off once you ride a few miles. These will last a long time on the street - almost as long as a new set.
$50 each or $100 per pair. Shipping is $20 per tire or $25 per pair to the 48 US States. Last futzed with by RaceBikeRentals; July 4th, 2009 at 07:32 AM. |

Rick - Richard's tires are for the 17" rims on the new-gen ninjette, they wouldn't fit on your 16" rims anyway. You didn't miss anything.

Thanks Alex. Dopy me. I thought the 16 represented 16" tires.

Hey Kelly,
I compared a takeoff with a new BT016, and honestly, the takeoffs look like they have 90% or more tread left. The very edges are slightly scrubbed/worn, but most people will never see action that far over (you excepted) These tires served on school rentals, so average speeds are very low... probably around 70MPH. |

you, sir, have a PM.
My front tire edges are never used, so these sound perfect for me. |

Kelly - Will try to make it down to USPS today. I think I'll need to figure out how to wrap the tire completely. They tend to be a bit more picky than FedEx.

just wrap a label on it and cover the label with clear packing tape. I've had tires shipped to me like that before through the post office, though they may have changed the rules.
sorta like this, but you don't even need the cardboard on the outside. mahalo, sir. |

BTW, I got my front tire from Richard. As he said, it looks like it has a lot of life left in it. Thanks, for the good deal and for the super service.

I hope that people actually take advantage of your offer and you don't throw them away like some other people on this forum that I will not mention! (cough cough)

Richard, sorry for the hijack. Here is Jeffs post on my thread. "I have $150 dollars right now if you can off a set to me. It would mean a lot if I could get these shipped. Can we work something out Mr. rspilot? Contact me for my address!
sincere regards, Jeff " Here was my response in a PM to him. "If you're not in a rush to get these, you can pick these up at Willow Springs (big track) on July 19th." |
