Now that is cool. I bet that thing flows like water up top. I bet it's fun to ride, & it looks like a little moto 3 bike. Great work,

I was surprised how fast it was after the mods..I only rode the bike for 60 seconds before tearing it apart but it seems much faster. doing track day the 18th so i will report how well it does... The GSXR suspension seems really overkill but its like whatever..

Welcome Bryan! Looks like your well on your way to having a fast lil 2fiddy. Interesting selection of pictures to go with your first post, although not all of them fit within the tone of this site.

The gsxr shock may indeed be a bit overkill but it's 100% reversible and cheap enough to not really care either way. I wouldn't trade back for the stock one for anything.

Nice build, I've been following it on motodfw as well. Really interested in your fairings stay, looks simple and effective. I've been wanting to ditch my heavy stock piece but figured I would need to have something welded up. Can you post more detail on it?

It's simple..stock top stay bolt with 1/8th inch by 1" aluminum strips from Home Depot and bend until it fits to your liking..once its good shoot a rivet to them through the body work.. My digital tach $18 off ebay "not in pics" mounts to the center of them..
Just saw your in Dallas...Bring $15 for hardware from home depot and a six pack of beer..

lol @ lead paint. The red chips where the best but were kinda rare but when properly aged in the far corner of the living room behind the chair, it's sooooo good.

I like the Pod runner setup. Never really thought of that before! How did you make your clip-ons? I take it you're from the DFW area?

live in McKinney north of DFW.. Grainger item numbers 3zn72 $13.41 and 1L701 $8.33.. took to pronto muffler in Plano and they welded it up free for a 10.00 tip.. Most muffler shops do this..

Rearsets are 1/2" plate.. Will knock off the edges and mill to reduce weight.
