Where is the fuel switch? Why do I need to use it?

Greetings & Salutations!
No fuel switch, petcock is vacuum-operated. When engine cranks, it generates enough vacuum in carbs to turn on petcock. |

I'd say you did ok. As far as the fuel switch, are you looking at the petcock switch? Goes from "off" to "reserve" or "run?"
