----------------- The sun was a welcome sight after the aquatic adventures of a fortnight ago – if only for the morning sessions – and the lightweight class were quick to resume battle. With two more weeks to recuperate from his wrist injury, Jorge Martin was up to challenge for the lead of the session straight away but his early lead eventually fell victim to Jakub Kornfeil’s advances on the very last lap. The Czech rider shot into the lead at the flag by over two tenths of a second once the track got a dusting.
