My Ninjette now has Moto GP style graphics!

After years of indecisiveness I finally had alloutgraphics.com make me a set of Casey Stoner Moto GP vinyl graphics. Instead of printing the decals, they cut and assemble them in layer cake fashion. The result is sharp lines and vivid colors. This is not a Ninja 250R specific kit, it is a generic kit intended for Ducatis. I ordered mine with Kawasaki scripting.

Applying vinyl can be tedious. I removed the fairings to make things easier. It took me about 12 hours over two days to apply. Most of you could do the job much faster, I am sure. I took my time, much of which was spent deciding what to put where and what to leave out. I used water with a few drops of dish soap and the squeegee that they include. Using this wet method allows you to adjust the decals and work out bubbles easier. The best advice I can give is to use oblique light to look for bubbles when you think each piece is done, and roll them out with your thumb. I only used about 3/4ths of the decals included, as there is only so much bike to cover.

The cost was $95 plus shipping. This is a reversible mod. If you get tired of it you just grab a heat gun (low setting) , soften the vinyl and carefully peel it all off.

I have always wanted a racy look! A track scheme for the street is not for everybody. But hey, it's just for fun.
