Pregen rim tape on silver rim?
my blue 2007 has silver rim and I want to put some reflective rim tape on it, but most of the pictures I saw are people put tape on their black rim and it looked really nice. Anyone got pic of silver rim with tape??
Also what do people do about the wheel weight on the rim, just avoid it? |

They look awesome on the black rim because of the contrast in color. Especially during the night time! I have yet to see it on a silver rim, but I say, "Go for it..."
I recently had my tires changed on my pre-gen and I waited to put the rim tape on because of the stupid clip-on weight (I don't know why they still use those). I balanced my tires with tape weights instead. Now I have a full, flat surface to apply the rim tape to... (I think those who have those clip-on weights may have just started on one side of the weight & taped off to the other end). Do it... show us pics... if you like it, keep it! And if it doesn't look good you can always take it off!

I just trimmed my tape around the wheel weight.
