Parting out complete Ninja 300, clean title

I scored a complete Ninja 300 from a squid who ran the engine dry, THE ENGINE IS LOCKED UP. I purchased to get the fuel injection components for a project - the throttle bodies and ecu.

The bike has a clean title ready to transfer. It has normal tipover scratches/cracks on the side fairings but is overall in good straight condition.

Everything except for the throttle bodies, ecu, and left passenger pegs are available now. Let me know what you need and we can work out a deal. Located in metro ATL, but shipping is not a problem.

also have a friend that'd be interested in the rearsets

that's all I think I'd need from a stock bike

Right now the wheels are available. How about $150 for front and $75 for rear wheels/rotors? (not including cush drive) Ill pull them off and get pictures this weekend.

For rearsets how about $35 for left/right pair.

Also a general update. The engine is not locked up as I was told, got it to run briefly but has intermittent clack. Adjusted CCT to no avail. Drained oil and has several metal bits. Some components of the engine may be salvageable once I get it apart. Ill be using the crank and clutch for my project if they are salvageable, everything else is up for grabs.

Some pictures of the wheels attached. I can have the local shop remove the tires for $5/each to save on shipping if not needed.

How about $200 + shipping for the frame? It might take me a week or more to get the time to strip everything off it.

The 300 ignition is coil over plug type, the ignition components will not work on a 250 without extensive knowledge and cutting up the loom.

The 300 forks/springs are gone, but if the 250 springs would work for you I have a set.

Looks like shipping would be about $20 via UPS ground, so how about $70 for 250 springs, 300 shock, 300 cush drive/sprocket, shipped.

I know that the Original Poster (the seller here) wants the ECU for himself, but if you had an EX300 ECU to connect to the 300 ignition system would work just fine on an older EX250 if you include the complete group of items that actually make up the bike's ignition system.

This would include not just the coil-on-plug sticks and the wiring harness, but also the Alternator Rotor off the engine's crankshaft (because it has the "24 minus 2" ignition pattern on it). As far as I know the EX300 rotor is the same size as the EX250's original rotor and will fit right onto the EX250 crankshaft and will work with the EX250 alternator windings.

What frame is that? I was going back and forth between putting a 300 ninja yamaha R3 motor in my FZR400 chassis. I got such a smoking deal on an R3 motor that it was a no brainer. I've got a target weight of 270lb. For the whole bike ready to race.

Best of success to you with your build.

Do you still have the muffler? Didn't see it in your last update, but thought I'd ask. I'm just up in Winder and might take it off your hands if it's still around.

Muffler is spoken for by another member on here pending shipping payment, ill let you know if that changes. Ill likely be at Road Atlanta on the 15th so that would be closer for you to pickup.

I think ive replied to all PMs I have. Regardless, there have been several inquiries about the fairings so here are some pics.

The box will have to be quite large so you can imagine the shipping will not be a drop in the bucket. My shipping zip is 30004 if you want to gestimate shipping.
