Hi all -

Glad to join the community. Just picked up my first 250R about 2 months ago, and have been on here religously since...great info and good people. I gotta say, I love this little bike...so good in so many ways. Just sad I had to put her away yesterday for our harsh New England winters (though I did get to procrastinate till first wk in December due to a mild late fall, so I can't complain - let's hope this one isn't like last yr).

Thx Niki - Wish that car was mine but it's in the showroom where the previous owner was storing...I offered a package deal but he declined :-(

Think he said it was a studebaker...does that sound right? - could be wrong, couldn't take my eyes off my new ride.

I'm still riding, I'm gonna keep going until there's salt everywhere. I'll probably start up again when the salt clears up also. I don't mind the cold, just salt

God Bless...hear ya on salt - will probably take a good couple april rains to clear in the city here - summer salt air too - so close to the water, have to give her a cold rinse after a long summer ride.

I was pushing it this year, but lost my nerve 2 days ago after last wk's rain/cold (I'm in a 2-family house, but no garage just a driveway to do prep work)...luckily found a garage for storage within walking.

Welcome Matt - I lived in SE Mass. for too many years but I didn't start riding again until I moved to Florida. If you can survive the potholes, you will be an expert rider - ha ha! Went thru so many wheelbearings on my car, it got to be a joke.

This is a wonderful forum with lots of helpful & sometimes funny postings.

Not sure about that, we always referred to that stretch of weather as "Indian Summer" although it could have passed on like me. Regardless, for me it's nice not seeing Cal. in a avatar.

I'm glad my master's degree wasn't a complete waste. As for the question you asked CC, the burbs in terms of the motorcycle but Boston is a fun city personally.
