Liked Gotham quite a bit! It's one of the only new shows I've liked so far this season, the rest have been pretty blah.

As far as new series go that the only one i've seen.

The season premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was awesome though. I realy like how they tied it all together with Winter Soldier so well.

I still have to watch Sleepy Hollow...

Haven't even heard of Gotham TV Show. The new Blackish show looks funny. Saw the first episode last week.

Not much of a sitcom fan. Some are good, like The Middle or Last Man Standing. Most i realy couldn't care less about.

Big Bang is awesome though.

TV?!!? I gotz no time for that. I try to catch the weather for the next day @ 11 but often have to ask the wife what was reported.

Bottom line... I don't watch TV but when I do, it's normally some cartoon with the kids. 9 times out of 10 it's spongebob. lol

Yep, I have not had a TV for 10 years now, saved around $2000 on UK TV licenses also.
You have to pay the UK government about $200 a year for permission to watch TV or its fines and imprisonment. And they tell you how bad Russia is LoL

What? Why in the world do you need a TV license?

Anyway, I don't have cable. Just netflix, which is $8 a month.

I dropped them when they split the DVD and streaming services and wanted you to pay double what you had been for both.

I thought that was only for new customers as well. We just are members of the streaming service for that $8/mo; rejoined it recently when the Arrested Development new season was released. Have gotten great use of it since, with the kids both enjoying the almost unlimited selection of kids shows. We don't have to record anything for them; whenever we do allow them screen time, they have way more options than would ever be required.

I seem to be on a Netflix/CW kick at the moment. Both Supernatural and Arrow are on my current watch list, with maybe Reign or Flash going to be added soon.

I love companies that let you watch their shows for free.

Really enjoyed the series finale of The Newsroom last night. Thought the series finale of Sons of Anarchy last week was a bit meh.

My boyfriend was unimpressed with the last couple of seasons of that show, he said the same thing about the finale too. I never got into it.

The series finally of SOA actually made me cringe. But, I was really ready for it to all be over. It really went down hill quick this season.

Weak ending to SOA. I've been trying to catch up on Arrow and then start Flash after I'm caught up. Can't wait for The Americans to start up again.

We're caught up through the first episode of this season. It's getting REAL bad. Might just skip the end like I did with Dexter. :/

This season's first two episodes of The Americans have been great. We watched Fresh off the Boat last night; it was quirky, but somewhat entertaining. I can see how it could get stale and boring, or get more biting/funny/interesting as well, will have to see how it plays out.

I have found myself with excess amounts of spare time so I recently watched the entirety of avatar the last airbender and the legend of korra both of which I enjoyed. I've been watching parks and rec from the beginning and I just started season 5. April is my favorite. Also started agent carter but don't really have access to new episodes sadly because I like the show so far.

Wow.

Tonight's episode of Better Call Saul, titled Five-O, was possibly the best hour of television I have seen in my life. It rivals the very best of the Breaking Bad episodes, which I would have previously placed there (especially a few of the end right before the Finale like Ozymandias).

If you were a Breaking Bad fan and were on the fence about this spin-off, this puts it to rest with zero ambiguity. If you haven't watch BB, it's time for some Netflix over the next few months to catch up, just so you can start Better Call Saul.

(review of the episode on Variety. Watch the show first, there are spoilers.)

A bit of a surprise tonight. Watched this week's episode of You're the Worst (episode S02:E09 "LCD Soundsystem"), and was really taken aback. Completely new characters for much of the episode, and really fantastic writing. They can be watched online here:

Well, this weekend was less productive than I would have hoped. One plan was to test move this site to another provider, but that's not going to happen for at least another week. Because, well, I just binge-watched a pretty fantastic series. Louie C.K. put together web series, with pretty much no fanfare or marketing. I had heard of it when he mentioned it on a talk show a short while back, and was reminded of it again on Thursday or Friday. I bought the show on a whim, and was immediately hooked. It's called Horace and Pete (main site here).

It's a very unique, even strange, format compared to other TV shows. It's more like a filmed play. 10 episodes, all of varying lengths. No laugh track, no audience; just actors performing. Very few cuts/transitions/etc., very theater-like. The actors are fantastic (Alan Alda, Steve Buscemi, Jessica Lange, Edie Falco, plus many others as memorable guests), and the writing is strong. It generally focuses on two brothers, the latest owners of a 100-year-old bar in Brooklyn, which has been owned by the same family since inception. I was looking for reviews late tonight, and have posted them below, but I wouldn't advise reading them all in detail until viewing at least one or two of the episodes. There are some spoilers embedded that may lessen the impact of the series itself.

You'll probably all gag but one of my top 10 favorited is: Grand Designs".
There are now about 160 episodes and most are spectacularly creative, new & renovated home construction. If you've ever signed on the dotted line you may have more than a passing interest!
Here's a wiki link for a description and there's a website link in the article:
