Talking Conversion Into A two Piece.

Does anyone have any idea's, suggestions as to how i can make an odd pair of pant/jacket into a two piece? (other ways of joining besides a zipper?)
I really hate having my jacket ride up away from the pants, leaving my hip and waist exposed in a fall.

Large strips of sewn on velcro maybe but I don't know how well that would adhere in a skid.

That Sounds like a good possibility. Industrial Velcro maybe?

My Joe Rocket jacket has snap-rivets at the end of textile strips all around the waist that you can loop around your belt or beltloops. Love them!

I think a zipper would suit best, why not do that? Otherwise yes, I do see many jackets sold with belt loops to go with pants! But they're only snap fasteners, I'm not sure I trust it with a crash.

Zipper works best. It is probably the safest, and certainly easiest to use once in place.

This may sound silly, but make sure there is enough "room" for your mod. Measure while crouched, not standing up.
It is very uncomfortable to tuck in if your jacket is pulling your shoulders and neck, and pants pushing in your rear.

This. Search for a local shoe & leather repair. Chinatown will be bang for the buck.

All my pants/jackets come with the mating other half of the zipper. Take them to your local upholstery shop.

Nothing wrong with zippers, Its just they dont have the zippers already, and would be kinda hard to get zipperized.
