Worried about my 2nd oil change...

Did my 2nd oil change on the bike today (1000kms). When I went to go take the filter bolt off, it just wouldn't budge. And I never torqued it overly hard last time because my torque wrench wasn't working. So after that oddity was over, I tried taking the filter cover off of the bolt and that wouldn't come off either! It would slide to the threads and it wasn't going anywhere. After playing with it for a good 20 min of trying to get it off, I decided to take a small piece of wood and knock the bolt out of the cover. Then, while wiping down the filter parts, I noticed that the washer that goes over the spring was warped.
Are these things I should be worried about??

sounds like you might have over torqued it the last time, possibly? w/o a torque wrench... how would you know?

the spring being warped is unusual as it's a pretty substantial flat washer. dunno what to make of that.

the cover not coming apart... did you lube the o rings with oil before assembly the last time you did the oil change?

Couldn't have over torqued it because last time, I put it on tight, but not so tight where I had to push against my bike to get the leverage needed to get the bolt off.
The drain bolt came off just fine.
and yes, i did lube the o rings. the cover came off the o ring just fine, but then it got stuck about halfway on the bolt before the threads started.
