Jack point

Does anyone know where the proper jack point is on the 2010 ninja 250, using a regular car jack?

Could you be more specific? What are you trying to accomplish?

The correct answer is to go get a rearstand. It's not a car. Rearstands are very useful for bike maintenance, from pulling wheels to get new tires, to oil changes, to chain lubing, to standing the bike up for any other work you might want to do.

If you have to jack the bike up to, say, unload the suspension, I've used the bottom of the shock linkage with good success (this also makes adjusting the shock easier, BTW). Since the bike does not have a cradle frame, there's nothing else you can use except the engine itself. Personally I wouldn't trust that, even though the bike is very light.

don't do it.

there is a reason it's named a "CAR" jack.

there is also a reason why they are called "MOTORCYCLE" stands.

Definitely follow the advice posted above and don't use a car jack. The Ninjette doesn't have a cradle-type frame like you'll find on some other motorcycles (most typically crusiers and dirtbikes) to support the bike on a jack.
