Does this make me a squid? xD

Had an interesting ride to school this morning and I felt like posting about it, because I lost my wheelie virginity (hope that word isn't too inappropriate for the site or anything...lol)
My bike started to hesitate and lose power as if I was out of gas, so I flip it to reserve but the throttle response still feels kinda laggy, so I go a while on reserve then flip it back to "on" and it keeps going fine or a mile or two then it gets a little hesitatey again so I flip it to reserve, but this time it doesn't stop I keep losing power, I've got it WOT and am decelerating (reminds me of the honda civic I test drove) so by the time I got down to 50mph and the car in the slow lane next to me passed me I decided I need to pull over, so I did. Bike idled a few times and would hesitate whenever I gave it gas then after a little while it started running like normal, now the fun part getting back onto the freeway when theres a stampede of traffic coming at 60+ mph! Theres a gap big enough for me to get on if I accelerate really fast and I know my bikes capable of it, SO I GO FOR IT! next thing I know I'm staring at the sky my front wheel is a good 3-4 feet in the air I'm like AHHHH HOLY CRAP *front end slams down* me: WTF I JUST DID A HUGE WHEELIE *cars still coming at me going 60+* oh crap *takes off again, sans wheelie this time*

Yeah that was my morning commute, how was yours? Freaking dangerous, I guess my clutch either slipped out of my hand in my gigantic bulky winter gloves or I just dropped it too fast because my gloves lack feel being so big, I think it was a combination of both though since I was trying to take off fast without getting splattered :P I've been wanting to wheelie forever I just don't want to hurt my bike or myself so I've been refraining from trying it, now I know what it's like lol!

So all said and done I refueled at the gas station down the street that has 20 cent cheaper gas than everywhere else! Win! The bad news is I only got 38 mpg ): First time I've ever gone below 40, I usually get 45ish. Must be from running my bike in 3rd gear instead of 4th to warm the engine up in the cold.

I would say not. Not if it was an accident.

That's pretty funny though. Could have turned out bad, glad your ok.

Would it make you feel better if we called you a squid? There is apparently alot of pride in being a squid... all that risk taking takes guts!

Lol the title was supposed to be a joke, I know this doesn't make me a squid I just thought it was funny because I wheelied and what not.

Gee thanks for finding my near death experience funny! Lol jk, I thought it was hilarious once I got past the HOLY CRAP I JUST DID A WHEELIE stage lol, the other drivers probably thought I was just trying to show off or something lol
