Noob/cager from SoCal

whats up guys/gals.. My name is Eric and I am a noob!!! I have wanted a bike since before i could drive but my family forbid it, with threat of being cut out of the family will.. lol
i convinced my wife that a bike would be an economical while im building my 91 foxbody..
for years i looked for a bike that looked cool, can handle the freeway and be lowered to fit me. Thats when i started looking at 250s.. So i decided to drain my bank account into my wifes account and left for the dealership with $20...

At the dealership, i sat on a 2012 250 and realized it would need a grip of mods for me to fit...I'm 5'3... so i ask for the OTD price both with and with out mods.. so he goes off and does the paperwork.. another salesman near by saw the sale going down and knew what i needed and was looking for... so the roll in a black 250 2009... full lowering kit with kickstand, aftermarket windscreen, custom seat, deleted licence plate thing, upgraded taillight, 2 bros slip on, and a few more items...
This bike was $1300 less the new stock.. so asked if they would take $20.. they said nope..so i walked out... i was 7 miles down the rode before they sent me text saying they would take the $20 as a down payment. a week later i got my bike.. a week after that to the MSP and got my M1..

Now im looking for people to ride with in the SFV/SGV

Sorry about the lack of pics.. I joined at work.. will post up when i get to my laptop!!

The bike has 4,3XX.. The previous owner dropped it and cause minor damage to the left fairing.. and i tapped something and took out the turn signal ($25 loss)..

2 rides that I can definitely appreciate!!! I've wanted a foxbody for quite some time... almost had one about 7 years ago when my sister was trying to sell hers... mom talked her out of selling it to me.

Timing just hasn't been right... I'm sure I could have gotten one anytime... but circumstances haven't allowed it... no time or money for a project right now.

Look forward to meeting up with you... we have a really good group in the SoCal area and we get together quite often for tech days, rides and just plain ol' hangin out. Always looking for more members!!!

since we have a few mustang guys, I will give you the run down...
picked it up as a decent roller that had been garaged for 10 years... over the last year I have been building it... 25k later, my blood & sweat and she is almost done.. its in cali so it has to be CARB legal..
1991 LX coupe 5.0 white
rebuilt bottom end with canton oil pan & girdle
trickflow top end kit (350)
stage 2 trick flow cam
75mm tb and space 90mm maf
sct chip and tune
full maximum motorsport suspension from a-arm to panhard bar with koni SA yellow
baer track 4 13" 5 lug and ssbc 5 lug cobra conversion
17x9 cobra r wheels
there is a ton of parts but just an idea... will be adding S/C, TKO600 & E347 block.. peice by peice

Congrats on the ninjette and sweet sounding stang. I just threw a t67 on the wife's 95 5.0. Just need to fix a few issues with the chip and see how it holds up.

Sounds like a nice stang - gotta love the multiport-injected 5.0's! I have an 85 GT vert - CFI

- hard to mod, but trying to stay stock... it's never been a breeze passing emissions here.
