Pre Gen Part bike part out
Hey guys. When we bought my mom's ninja we got a parts bike with it for fairings and stuff.
We are gonna part some of it out, as we don't need anything else. I am not going to price anything, I would like you to contact me at EDITED with your offer on a particular part and I will agree or disagree on pricing and figure out shipping. Not looking to make a crap ton of money on this, looking to get it out of the barn and help you guys out. We are willing to sell the whole bike, it just doesn't have a title. I do not know much about the bike, the owner said it starts runs for a few seconds and stalls. He said something about a cracked head, I don't know Bike (1998) had 11k miles, so everything should still work correctly. Here we go. Anything pictured is for sale, not only what I list! Everything from this is available except the bottom cowling (now on moms bike) and the ignition/tail lock Gas tank, the guy was doing the body work on this, I assume it was dented. Holds gas. Front rim/oem junk tire decent tread, forks, rotor, caliper, hose handlebars- left one is bent, ignition cylinder with key is sold, killswitch, starter assembly, choke/horn assembly. radiator, fan/motor, coils, carbs, shifter, header coolant jug, hoses, swing arm, chain, sprockets, chain cover, rear caliper, rear rotor, battery cables, airbox, rearsets including passenger, computer, kickstand side panels, decent condition, faded from sticker removal, needs a little work and paint. front fender, crack on the right side that goes around the fork. Repairable with fiberglass, scratches from being removed incorrectly through the front. Seat, no rips dots are just dust/dirt lower cowl, needs to be sanded, stickers removed maybe a little body work and repainted, no cracks. Main fairing piece, cracked in multiple locations. Was on Mom's bike when we bought it originally. Reinforced and everything bolted together properly. With the price of new ones somebody may want this and work on it, but shipping doesn't seem like it will be fun! Miscellaneous pile of parts, ripped apart fender assembly, ripped apart headlight (mod potential maybe), mirrors-one is missing glass, a few lenses and brackets. Items that have been sold, updated so you know! Ignition cylinder with key, including rear tail lock Last futzed with by A7xschecter6661; November 10th, 2011 at 09:00 PM. |

Most of the damage was from being disassembled and thrown around the 2 garages it is in.
I'd prefer not to sell just the screws, but definitely will if it comes to it. They are listed around $30 on ebay but I can beat that if you want the whole assembly. If not, take a screw out of the choke side, and head to a hardware store, I am sure they are probably the same |

Just like cynical I am in need of a bit of hardware. I need the 4 screws that secure the tank bracket to the frame, the screw that secures the brake lever to the master cylinder, the little screw that secures the brake switch to the master cylinder and the 4 screws that secure the tail plastics onto the frame, and the little choke lever found on the left handle bar. Please let me know if you are willing to part with this items and how much do you want for them, we'll discuss details over PMs.

Alright guys, I am bumping this UP.
I ripped a lot of the bike apart tonight while I was taking the carbs out to swap to my moms bike to see if I can fix an issue. That being said, a lot of the parts are already disassembled and in a parts bin. Contact me VIA Email EDITED if you need certain parts and we can discuss price and shipping Most of the bike is there but I can't guarantee without confirming! Front wheel back wheel rear rotor rear master cylinder, reservoir, hose and caliper (I pushed on the piston and the other one blew out and shot brake fluid all over me, awesome!) ignition coils relays main fuse block engine computer radiator hoses lines wiring harness right side clip on, left is bent a little kickstand center stand (I will have to make sure this is still worth using) rear sets ignition cylinder (comes with seat lock) gas tank (see first post) bottom fairing (could be prepped and painted) side panels (could be prepped and painted) seat (has white spots on it, might come off but didn't by just washing) front fender (cracks around fork area, could be reinforced and painted) header pipe air box (no filter) once again, EMAIL ME. I rarely check here You name it, if I have it, I'll sell it! |

Once I get it down to the frame I will probably be sand blasting it and repainting it and selling it as a title-less frame that you can weld your VIN on to. So that's up for grabs too as well as the motor, rims, header pipe, carbs.
Please remember email is the best way to contact me! |

I have no way to test anything as the bike is completely disassembled, the guy we bought it from said the bike does start with a battery. But like I said I have no way to verify sadly
