Arrow Help!!!....Need solution for slippery seat

Does anyone know of any good practical solution for a slippery seat?

Suddenly, the seat of my pre-gen has become very slippery in combination with my new textile (Maxdura) over-pants.

No, I don't hang-off, so I am perfectly happy seated in line with the bike and don't need to slide over the seat.
The slippery thing happens during moderate to hard braking, even when I keep gripping the tank with my knees.

Flexible self-adhesive anti-slip tape has been the first solution that has came to my mind, but I don't know where to find such tape or if it would work in my case.

Thanks in advance

I've used this stuff in the yacht for years, it's great for puttng in cupboards and draws to stop stuff sliding about.

Between your bum and a seat it'd stick like... Yes

See if HT Moto will make a seat pad or replacement you can stick on in replacement for your seat pad and upholstery

I've seen individuals put tank grip pads on their seats as well as the tank. Rubberized anti-slip tape is probably a cheaper option as well (quick example: http://www.amazon.com/ISC-Jessup-Rub...ip+rubber+tape )

Tank grip (on the tank) alone probably won't help that much as I'm assuming if you aren't leaning off, you're looking for a more comfortable ride.

Thank you all !!!

The problem is not the seat or the grips of the tank but the texture of the new fabric, which is really slippery.

Not problem at all with my other nylon over-pant or with jeans.

Thanks, Michael.

I will check that option and see how flexible that tape is.

It doesn't work, the material at the knees also slips badly.

I feel like a boiled egg on flat porcelain dish

Skate deck tape will ruin any gear/pants it's in contact with...It acts as a coarse sandpaper!

You can clean the seat with a good vinyl cleaner...that may help make it a bit tackier from my experience. Look into getting a gripper seat material like what I used for MX bikes. Check fabric stores or online and recover yourself or have an apolstery shop do it for you..it should'nt cost too much.
