Which ones did you get? The ones that look formed for the Ninja 250 or the teardrop shaped ones like I got in the video?

All of the LED signals that I have seen so far for the Ninja so far have been junk and had far less light output than the comparative bulb. If they show a photo of the signal lit in a dark room, then you know they're junk. When they show it lit in direct sunlight, then you can see what you are really getting.
The following would be an example of one not to buy: Here's one that shows some decent LED's although I would prefer a photo in direct sunlight and not at dusk (note the sky is white and not blue): Here's a link to motorcycle light reviews.... They are starting to come out with respectable LED headlights. Should be an interesting development. .

http://www.sportbikelites.com/SPORTB...p/cts-0034.htm http://m.ebay.com/itm/140598843014 I like what this guy did with the smaller lights. Looks pretty clean. http://forums.ninja250.org/viewtopic...=837446#837446 Last futzed with by agentbad; November 2nd, 2013 at 07:20 AM. |

http://www.customled.com/products/fl...flushmount.htm After some reading it may take some extra work to get these working properly. They seem to include what you need but the dash turn signal indicators may stop working unless you do more mods. I just like how bright they are. |

For example, LED manufacturers make a single LED that has the equivalent brightness of the Ninja headlight bulb, but these people aren't using that or anything like it.

It seems rather difficult to find high quality flush mounts turn signals for the pregen. I like the look of the Asiancycle ones but that quality ones don't seem to exist anymore. I just wanted something to replace both my front turn signals becaue both are cracked but I may just get OEM replacements.

I installed those Leds in the side reflector holes on the fairing. I use them as DL's 100% of the time, not one Led has burned out in seven months.
They are very bright..soo much so the ground is Amber at night. I will try to post some pics in the next few days.

Here you go.
I mounted these signal mirrors to be seen better. My plans are to eliminate the stock signals entirely and fill in the mounting recess on the fairing.

I like the mirror blinkers too. Were they a kit or did you have to fit them?

Got them on Amazon for $40. Made for a late model GSXR. Took some cutting/ grinding/drilling with the dremel and used the base of the stock mirrors. All in all w/ wiring it took about two hours to do. The mirrors are not perfect, sone imperfections like excess plastic at seams. My plan is to eventually strip the mirrors down sand/file and smooth all rough edges and paint them satin black. May even put some small led running lights inside as well. They are worth buying for under $ 50. The extra visibility of people seeing your blinkers better is priceless.

The problem with the flush mounts is decreased visibility. A person on the opposite side can't easily see them. The mirror signals look like a good way to increase visibility and solve that problem.

The Signal mirrors can be seen very well and much better visibility than the stockers. It's hard to balance style and safety on a bike but this mod made it easy.

This is what I did wth flush mounts I picked up at my local Kawi dealer.. I took the original blinker housing and traced the pattern onto a piece of metal roofing L-Flashing then drilled the nessecary holes and primed and painted the metal black.. This was relatively easy and only need a pair of snips, drillbits and a drill....

Looks good! How's the rear view compared to stock with those? This spring when I strip mine down to paint satin black I'm gonna add some small Leds for Drls. I have noticed alot more people notice my signals when I'm behind them with the Mirrors set up for signal.
