It looks like he started with the new front/upper fairing and windscreen to begin with.

Anyone know where to buy it? I'd buy a classic 250 just to pair with it!

He is very talented but I don't get why you would want to change the bike to look like another bike. I guess it is like the Ferrari body kits you can buy for Fieros.

Not my thing to take something that for to look like something it's not.

But I appreciate the work and time that went into the bike.

What if it were painted differently? The new upper/front fairing fixes my primary complaints about the "classic, but out-dated" look including the abrupt (except on black) windscreen-meets-headlight seem, awkwardly-elbowed mirrors, and ugly square headlight while the paint with seat cover stealth's the bannana seat and the undertail exhaust carves out those, blocky, angular, tail-lights. Those things alone don't add up to "Ducati replica" and, yet, they make a WORLD of difference.

I'm using a NOS fogger nitrous system and it is a 14 horsepower shot in other words it has 7hp per cylinder added to the factory 38

The body on my bike is all fibrgass purchased from sharkskinz racing bodywork and it is adapted to fit the much smaller ninja. as for the engine, it has ported intake boots, individual air filters, and a dynojet stage 3 kit in the carbs. even without the nitrous its the fastest 250 i've ever ridden, and i've owned a bunch...that is the best combination i have developed so far as far as peak power and an excellent torque spread.

You say it was adapted... Since the item for sale on the Sharkskinz site says it's for 2008, did you have to drill new holes? How did you get it to fit, or does it right off the bat?

I may have to undertake a front fairing makeover

The body is not a kawasaki fairing, the model i purchased was for a 2004 ducati 999R and being for a different motorcycle i had to fabricate new body mounts, headlight brackets, guage package mounts, change the handle bars to clip ons, and quite a few other things that i cant remember off the top of my head. Despite the long list of modifications, the project is definitely do-able it just isnt going to happen in a weekend.

Nice looking bike. i love the undertail exhaust. I think i would definately have to get rid of those stock DunFlops though!!

Where did you hide the nitrous bottle?

Nitrous bottle is on a billet mount strapped to the framerail, it was removed for the pictures though. Real world cost isnt much on a project like this IF you do it yourself, personally I have less than $4500 in the bike and all the upgrades, that includes the $650 modified and revalved penske rear shock, the race body, nitrous kit, paint, decals, headlights, seat, clip-ons, factory ducati mirrors, etc....it is a very do-able project for someone who wants a better lookin ride and doesnt mind puttin out a little work for it.

do you mind if i ask you for more detail about the nitrous kit? is that 1/4 airline? is there a p/n? for the kit? how do you trigger it? i was thinking the horn button would be a good starting point?..also i cant belive anybody would be like oh why try and make it something else blah blah blah. ha half these folks around me think if you dont have a harley your a pussy. i think what you done kicks a$$ and your young and mad talented
